Qualifications of CHASE ENGINEERING, PC

Matt Chase has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the field of Fire Protection Engineering in the states of Florida, New York and Vermont. He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers and the American Fire Sprinkler Association.

Chase has ten years of experience in the field of Fire Protection and has been successfully running his consulting business in Vermont since 1999. Before starting his own consulting company he worked for five years as a Fire Protection Engineer in Miami, Florida.

The responsibilities under his supervision while in Miami included fire suppression system design, hydraulic calculations, fire protection system design reviews, system acceptance testing, building code design evaluation, fire alarm system design, technical specification development, water supply studies, engineered life safety systems and egress calculations.
